Parent attendance=child success

I just wanted to reiterate the importance of WHY parents get to attend with their children on a regular basis during our classes. This is for those who may have missed the parent orientation meeting, signed up late, or maybe feeling frustrated at the amount of time you are having to committ, or for just review. Simply put, parent involvement=child success! "One, you get to share the experience with your child and this relationship will carry you through the years of piano pracitce. Two, you will be able to understand the purpose of each activity, thereby reinforcing at home what was done in class and practicing will be more 'NATURAL' and consistent.
Three, by being an example of musical enjoyment your child will model that behavior: do the hand signs, sing the songs, sit on the floor WITH your child, do not be ihibited about the knowledge you don't have. If you are inhibited they will be too." If you are not participating, they will wonder why you are not! Hang in there! Your involvement will pay off in the long run! Thank you for your hard work and involvement!
